Network signal
Report signal strength, for example CSQ:21
CSQ signal strength
CSQ indicates RSSI strength, ranging from 0 to 31. The larger the value, the better the signal. If the CSQ value is greater than 16, the terminal can work normally. If the CSQ value is less than 16, it cannot work normally. If 99 appears, it means the channel is invalid.

Conversion formula
CSQ value = (received signal strength dBm+113)/2
Relationship between signal strength and stability of network data services
- Signal strength is expressed as the network coverage of the current resident cell.
- If the signal strength is poor, the network data communication is relatively unstable.
- If the signal strength is good, the network data communication is relatively stable.
- However, it cannot be absolutely assumed that if the signal strength is good, the network data communication will definitely be stable. It is also related to other factors such as whether the network is congested.
Relationship between signal strength and power consumption
- Weak signal strength may cause the device to increase power when communicating with the network to enhance the sensitivity of signal reception in order to maintain a stable communication connection. Therefore, the device may consume more power to maintain communication quality in an environment with weak signal strength.
- Strong signal strength may mean that the device is closer to the base station, the signal quality is better, and the communication connection is relatively more stable. In this case, relatively speaking, the power consumption of the device is lower when the signal strength is good.
